US Green Building Council (USGBC) Partnership PRSM and the US Green Building Council have teamed up to develop an education plan for members. The Association Green Council has formulated a plan that covers many areas of greening. We are educating our members on the importance of green initiatives. The Association strives to make educational opportunities an important goal for membership.

Energy Star Partnership PRSM achieved a goal of the Green Council Plan by making a fundamental commitment to protect the environment by becoming an ENERGY STAR partner. PRSM, through its voluntary partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR Program, will work to improve energy efficiency and fight global warming. PRSM and its members support that a strategic, corporate energy management program will aid in preserving the environment for future generations.

| ISSA Alliance
The Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM) has formed an alliance with ISSA, the worldwide cleaning association.
PRSM and ISSA will work together to educate members on the value of both associations. This alliance creates a broader awareness of PRSM within the cleaning industry. ISSA will provide PRSM members with the ISSA's expertise on cleaning issues through educational articles in the PRSM magazine, educational sessions at conferences and other added values for the PRSM membership.
ISSA- PRSM ALLIANCE: ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America 2009 As part of PRSM’s newly formed alliance with ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, PRSM members can attend the ISSA/INTERCLEAN® North America 2009 show, which takes place October 6-9 at McCormick Place in Chicago, at ISSA-member pricing. ISSA/INTERCLEAN is the one cleaning and maintenance show where facility executives can address the high priorities of store appearance and cleanliness, plus gain valuable executive education.
