HDFC Bank & EcoEnergy jointly won the “Best energy efficient case study” award at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition held in New Delhi on 18th and 19th May, 2017 for “Utilizing IOT Technology, Big Data & Cloud based Analytics to realize operational energy efficiencies across HDFC bank branches in India delivering 11.7% savings (based on 2015 baseline).
The award recognized and appreciated the program approach that was built around a Technology agnostic solution with open protocols & enablement of a ‘Data-centric’ culture that focused on a continuous improvement path by generating actionable insights from data.
The competition was organized by CII with the objective of providing a platform to the practicing organization across Indian industry sectors, to share their success stories & help others to learn best practices. This year a total of 400 presenters with 170 presentations from 120 companies across India that exemplified the best inventions and deployments of energy efficiency measures.
We are also glad that our project on reducing energy consumption for The Home Depot has been awarded the “Environmental Leader Project of the Year Award 2017” at the Environmental Leader 2017 Conference in Denver, Colorado, USA on 6th June.
In its fifth year, the Environmental Leader Product & Project Awards recognize excellence in products and services that provide companies with energy and environmental benefits, or in corporate projects that improved environmental, sustainability or energy management and increased the bottom line. It is a five-point rating system designed to offer companies feedback and recognition. Third-party judges were from companies such as Advanced Micro Devices, ATT, Best Buy, General Motors, Harbec, Kellogg, LNS Research, Marriott, Novartis, Oldcastle Inc., Panasonic, Safeway, Sears Holdings Corporation and Tyco Global Products among others.
