How Supplier Companies Can Provide Aid to Puerto Rico

Hurricanes Irma and Maria have devastated Puerto Rico. As of October 12, 84 percent of the island is still without power and many residents have no safe housing. Retail facilities damaged by the tropical storms are running on generators, which are running out of diesel fuel.

Supplier companies can offer aid to Puerto Rico by sending skilled laborers to the island to help with roofing, electrical, supply distribution, reconstruction and removal of debris.

To help, register your company with the System for Award Management (SAM) under the Disaster Response Registery (DRR). During the registration process, you must indicate you want to participate in the DRR and provide the required information on the Disaster Response Information page within the Assertions module. Once your registration is active, you will be added to the DRR and contracting officers will be able to locate your company through the DRR Search.

PRSM is helping suppliers connect with affected retailers searching for products and services. If you need products, resources, skilled labor, etc. or can provide these, please post to connect with PRSM retailers during this time of need.
