PRSM’s Future Depends Upon You!

Submit Board Nominations Now – and Vote in March

The future of PRSM is in your hands. The FM industry leaders you select for the PRSM Board of Directors will help to define the strategy of the organization, outline future goals and determine policies that govern member involvement.

In March, every primary PRSM member can have a voice in the selection of two retailers and two suppliers, who will serve on the board for three-year terms.

The nominating period opened December 2016 and closes Friday, Jan. 27, 2017. Any current PRSM member may self-nominate or nominate a candidate for an open board seat. Only primary PRSM members may vote in the board election
in March.

Those nominated will undergo an extensive screening process by the PRSM Nominating Committee and the existing PRSM Board of Directors to ensure they meet a detailed list of criteria that includes:

Being a current PRSM member in good standing with no outstanding ethics violations;

Exhibiting exemplary character and having a positive industry reputation;

Being respected by industry peers;

Possessing considerable business acumen;

Being able to identify emerging issues and express implications for the membership and PRSM;

Possessing excellent, proven leadership and communications skills.

If you know a PRSM member who meets these qualifications, and who you believe would make a great PRSM leader, please go to www.prsm.com to find information on how to submit a nomination.

We asked two current and two former PRSM Board members to provide their perspective on the importance of the PRSM board election. Here is what they had to say:

LISA VARGA
CEO, PHOENIX ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES
PAST PRSM BOARD MEMBER

“I have been a member of PRSM for more than 15 years and [am] actively involved at many levels of the organization. As a founding business owner, my relationships and interaction at PRSM provided the platform and relationships I needed to start my own business. PRSM is going through a new era of change and it’s a great time for ALL to get involved and build your own story! Get involved now with nominating and voting during this election and help shape the new future of PRSM and yours!”

BOB FAZAKERLEY
VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE & RETAIL FACILITIES,
RITE AID CORPORATION
PAST PRSM BOARD MEMBER

“Your vote counts! Just as it did back in the November political elections, your involvement in the selection of PRSM’s Board of Directors is important. The board candidates you nominate and elect will shape the future of PRSM and how it serves its members. Don’t sit on the sidelines – take action and get in the game! Nominate a PRSM supplier or retailer you believe is qualified and then vote in the election. It’s your organization, let your voice be heard. Together, we can take PRSM to the next level!”

JONATHAN BAUER
SENIOR DIRECTOR STORE DEVELOPMENT, GAP, INC.
2016-2017 PRSM BOARD MEMBER

“Every change begins with someone taking action! PRSM has had great leaders in the past, with amazing vision for the organization. They took action. That is what we need for the future – board members with a passion and a vision for what PRSM can be. PRSM’s future is in your hands. It’s your time to nominate and elect our future leaders. Do your part by nominating qualified individuals and then vote for PRSM’s future.”

TOM BONNEL

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, SALES AND MARKETING, METROTECH
