Waste Management Services Provider in Top 10 for Third Consecutive Year
Victor, N.Y. — October 25, 2017: Waste Harmonics, LLC, a leading national provider of waste management services, has once again been named to the Rochester Chamber Top 100, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing privately held businesses in the Greater Rochester region.
For the second consecutive year, Waste Harmonics claimed the number two spot on the Rochester Chamber Top 100 list. The Victor-based company achieved a seventh-place finish in 2015.
“It is a privilege and an honor to again be recognized as the second fastest-growing company in the Greater Rochester region, an area known for its robust entrepreneurial climate and many successful businesses,” said Waste Harmonics’ CEO Michael Hess. “Our growth is a testament to the work of everyone at Waste Harmonics. We are committed to providing a hands-on approach that surpasses customer expectations and to continually innovating our programs to solve companies’ waste-management needs efficiently and cost-effectively. We are driven to deliver on these goals day after day.”
Waste Harmonics serves companies with multiple locations typically spread across a wide geographic territory. Its customers — which span the United States, Canada and Guam — include national bank chains, travel centers, movie theatres, and convenience and grocery stores. Waste Harmonics’ many services include waste pick-up, hauling, recycling, sustainability, and waste usage reporting programs.
Over the last year, Waste Harmonics has continued to expand its customer base and make key hires, including a Director of Sustainability, and program improvements. Its focus on sustainability was enhanced by the recent acquisition of Eco2Go, an easy and environmentally-friendly mail-in solution for companies with low-volume recycling needs. And iWaste, Waste Harmonics’ program for customers with higher waste volume, now includes remote monitoring technology that provides real-time data on equipment usage, equipment maintenance needs, and waste disposal needs for more effective management.
Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bob Duffy said, “The Rochester Chamber Top 100 list serves as a wonderful example of the Rochester and Finger Lakes region’s positive economic evolution. The leading number of companies on the list came from the service, manufacturing, technology and construction industries. We congratulate all of the Rochester Chamber Top 100 businesses and wish them continued growth and success.”
The Rochester Chamber Top 100 is a Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and KPMG LLP program that ranks businesses based upon both dollar and percentage growth, recognizing the Finger Lakes region’s reputation for innovation spurred by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. To be eligible for the Rochester Chamber Top 100, businesses must be independent, privately held, headquartered in the nine-county Finger Lakes region, and have revenue of at least $1 million in each of the three most recent fiscal years.
