The Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association (PRSM) partnered with Interior Designers of Canada and host Craig Patterson of Retail Insider for a tour of Toronto’s Bloor-Yorkville area on September 19, 2017.
The tour focused on the future of the area, which will cost of hundreds of millions of dollars in the next few years as the area develops. Throughout the tour, architectural highlights and designs were featured, such as the transformation of historic buildings into functional retail spaces.
The tour stopped at sites such as One Bloor East and West, Manulife Centre, Yorkville Village and The Colonnade. These sites will be considered a ‘luxury zone’ with upscale fashion retailers and restaurants similar to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills when completed.
The tour concluded at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto with a networking event and the launch of platinum sponsor Arconas’ Green Furniture in partnership with Green Furniture Concept.
